One By Zero

A modern, search-friendly website for a Dubai AI agency, upgraded from a client-rendered React application and extended with a secure blog publishing platform.

Project overview

Built around the product, users, and outcome.

One By Zero is the corporate platform for a Dubai AI and digital-solutions agency. I modernized its legacy React architecture without redesigning the established experience, then delivered an administration system that lets authorized staff create, optimize, publish, and manage long-form content without developer support.

MY ROLEFull-Stack Developer — Modernization, SEO & CMS

Migrated the website from Vite and React Router to the Next.js App Router, refactored duplicated code, resolved rendering and media issues, strengthened SEO, and built a secure Supabase-backed blog CMS.

Key contributions

The capabilities and outcomes I delivered.

  • 01Vite and React Router migration to Next.js App Router
  • 02Reusable architecture and reliable server rendering
  • 03Secure Supabase authentication and admin authorization
  • 04Rich-text blog and category management
  • 05Image cropping, validation, storage, and cleanup
  • 06SEO metadata, structured data, and incremental revalidation
Challenges & solutions

Technical decisions shaped by real constraints.

Modernizing a React SPA without redesigning it

CHALLENGE

The existing site depended on client-side routing, browser state, and interactive behavior that could break during a framework migration.

SOLUTION

I introduced dedicated App Router pages and clear server/client boundaries, preserving the visual experience while resolving hydration, navigation, caching, and image-loading problems.

Building a secure content-management workflow

CHALLENGE

The agency needed non-developers to manage rich blog content without exposing public write access or weakening content quality.

SOLUTION

I combined Supabase Auth, server-side administrator checks, and PostgreSQL Row Level Security with a rich editor, publishing controls, category management, and protected media uploads.

Making every article search-ready

CHALLENGE

A basic editor could publish incomplete metadata, inconsistent URLs, or content that search engines and social platforms could not interpret well.

SOLUTION

I built SEO validation into the editorial workflow and generated canonical URLs, social previews, article metadata, and BlogPosting structured data for every published post.
